Marlin Wei lived her life as she alone intended. The trials of womanhood in a male dominated industry and the successes of an accomplished businesswoman gave birth to an extraordinary character; daring, free, and ahead of her time. Faithful friendships and passion for life, as well as a thirst for culture, discovery and travel helped shaped her personality. Hair, freed from constraints and superfluity, tweaked with her feminine accents, created a visionary allure that has become timeless and yet wildly modern. Intermixing ombre colors mixed with the alluding waves... That of an avant-garde woman, a pioneer whose lifestyle and multiple facets forged the values of the House she founded, and who remains an inspiration for all women.

CHAPTER'1
Hair is no simple business.

To many of us, hair is one of the most important part of our daily routine as it can make or break an entire look.

At HChair, we understand that.

As a women-owned business, we know the struggle. Especially the hair of women of African descent, as the fragility and curvature makes it incredibly hard to manage and fit the European-dominated beauty standard and industries.

It is our mission to make it easy.

In 2012, Huangcai, HC hair parent company, was founded in the city of Xuchang in Henan province. As a Chinese business, we found ourselves surrounded with abundant opportunities.

With giants around us, we have to be the David to their Goliath.

Luckily, we caught the wave. The trend of e-commerce was an inevitable one. HC hair and other Huangcai subsidiaries were listed on one of the biggest platforms, Amazon. This helped us grow exponentially.

Since then, Huangcai stores have been listed on Amazon, Aliexpress, AliBB, Ebay, and many other platforms.

Tested by time, we strive for greater things.

HC hair holds true to the principles that made us successful in the first place.


CHAPTER'2 PHILOSOPHY

It is our intention to spread the values of HC hair intentionally.

Facing challenges home and abroad, we want all women to be able to rest assure their own character, to be comfortable with the top of their heads.

Thus, abiding to these principles, we are an all-inclusive company, with commitments towards every single one of our workers and the environment they work in. We recycle hair donated from all around the world, the process is pain-free and we have the utmost respect for our donors for making the dreams come true.
